Imagine the deaf community being able to experience presidential addresses, breaking news, emergency announcements, and speeches by prominent figures through a hyper realistic 3D avatar that interprets verbal speeches into precise sign language. At DEAF AI INC, we are making this dream a reality. We are a deaf-owned and deaf-founded non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in translating spoken language and written text into sign language through a dynamic AI presence. We are also able to replicate prominent figures by applying hyper realistic full body characters to our AI presence. For example, if Elon Musk was giving a very important speech, we have the ability of providing a hyper realistic Elon Musk avatar that will be interpreting his very own speech into sign language. This removes the need for costly human interpreters, it is much less of a delay, and it gives the deaf community the benefit of getting their information directly from the actual source itself (Elon Musk) rather than a 3rd party individual. The use of human interpreters, though valuable, is increasingly starting to be seen as outdated due to issues of cost, scheduling difficulties, and their unavailability during critical moments, especially during times of emergencies.
