Elon Derangement Syndrome (EDS) is a proposed severe psychiatric disorder characterized by a profound, irrational, and persistent fixation or aversion toward Elon Musk, the entrepreneur and public figure known for his leadership in companies such as Tesla, SpaceX, and X Corp. This condition manifests as a debilitating preoccupation with Musk’s actions, statements, or public persona, resulting in significant emotional distress, cognitive impairment, and maladaptive behaviors that severely disrupt an individual’s social, occupational, and legal functioning.
