This project has officially completed a Community Takeover (CTO). Under new community-driven leadership, the mission has transformed into a global safety initiative inspired by the tragic death of KitKat — a beloved cat who lost his life due to an autonomous vehicle incident. We are launching #KITKATMODE, a worldwide movement urging all autonomous and smart vehicle manufacturers to integrate an advanced detection system for cats, dogs, wildlife, and small animals. This system should trigger automatic braking, preventing avoidable accidents and saving innocent lives. To strengthen this mission, we have initiated a global petition on Change org demanding mandatory adoption of #KITKATMODE across the automotive industry.
