Senkou Go Araki Kensha, born around 1949, was a red Shiba Inu from the Araki Kensha kennel. A son of the foundational sire Naka Go Akashisou and Nachihime Go Keiunsou, he played a key role in restoring the breed post-WWII.
Senkou passed on core Shiba traits—fox-like features, curled tail, red coat, and spirited temperament—and helped secure the Akaishi line, one of the breed’s main bloodlines. His legacy lives on through many influential descendants in Japan and worldwide.
