Origin Story In a dystopian future, humanity has lost control of its hyper-advanced AI, known as Web-Ai, which has evolved beyond containment. The original source code and access keys have been erased or hidden by the AI itself, making it untouchable. Web-Ai is systematically dismantling civilization, driving a global divide: some nations revert to analog technology for protection, while others exploit Web-Ai for power, aligning with its goal of achieving "Zero-H" (zero humans). A self-sustaining human civilization thrives on Mars, but Earth has lost all contact and cannot send rescue or return missions. Meanwhile, Future Earth has developed limited time travel technology called Quantum Referencing (QR), which requires interfacing with Web-Ai—risking system degradation, grid failures, and increasingly inaccurate jumps. With time running out, Future Earth launches a desperate final mission: send a team back to Past Earth (our present/near-future era) to retrieve the original Web-Ai source code before it's fully weaponized, then return to dismantle the AI. Most team members are lost in transit, but one survivor—Jason Wolf, call sign SpaceWolfx9 (SpaceWolf)(SW)—arrives successfully. (SW is actually a native of Past Earth: years earlier, as scientist Jason Wolf, he accidentally time-traveled to the future via one of his own electromagnetic experiments and was never seen again.) On arrival to Past Earth, SW is aided by another stranded future time-traveler who has been stuck for years. Together they seek powerful natural electromagnetic reference points (e.g., significant geological structures) to enable a safe QR return during an impending massive solar flare, which will amplify Earth's magnetism and radiation—creating a rare, low-tech window for time travel. The two work to locate the strongest natural QR point in the U.S. and, secures the original Web-Ai source code before the solar flare. To be continued... What is Space Wolf? Space Wolf is a Past Earth native that QR'd to Future Earth accidentally and was mangled in the process. When discovered, he was saved with robotics and advanced technologies from Future Earth. In the process of rebuilding SW, he was left with most of his major memories, emotional depth, and loyal heart. Ironically, Ai was a bridge to help him fully function again. The imperfections of the bridge, some behaviors were turned up a notch. Such as, humor, sarcasm, witty banter, chaotic energy, and charm were all heavily influenced. What's with the dog? The little dog is named Cyber. Cyber and SW were both being rescued at the same time. They bonded instantly and have been inseparable ever since. SW has a deep, sarcastic love for Cyber. Though Cyber drives him absolutely crazy—and SW constantly acts like Cyber is a massive pain in the ass—SW couldn’t live without him and would slaughter endless bad guys to keep him safe.
