Apu Apustaja started appearing in 2016 on 4chan and early drawings were intentionally crude versions of Pepe: rounder head, derpy eyes, simple mouth and childlike speech. Instead of Pepe's more cynical personality, Apu developed into a naive, innocent little frog dude. Apu has since turned into the more memeable version of pepe with more people rocking the Apu PFP. Now Apu is taking over the Robin hood chain, Eth's hotter younger brother. USDG rewards are paid out to holders automatically.
