the flyrooms

Flyrooms is the infinite backrooms for flies. It is a self contained, evolving, and living ecosystem that is growing, updating and evolving every day. It was created as an interactive art/neuroscience experiment: it started with two AI trained files, running a spiking neural network built from real FlyWire connectome data (668 neurons, ~19k synapses per fly). But now, the ecosystem is rapidly growing into place of live, communicative, AI based flies that are creating art, developing their own religion, and growing as a digital species. Birthing in the breeding grounds, and dying in the jar, as the cycle repeats, changes, and grows as the flies grow.
