Quasi The Hunchback Dog

In 2015, a German Shepherd mix with short spine syndrome shuffled onto a stage in Petaluma, California — hunched, compressed, unmistakable — and walked off with the crown of the World's Ugliest Dog. Her name was Quasi Modo. Like the bell-ringer of Notre-Dame, she was mocked for her shape and loved for her heart. The judges didn't crown her out of pity. They crowned her because she owned it.
