Japan has started installing Pokémon-themed sewer covers (Pokéfuta) across the country to promote tourism and local culture, and the newest ones feature Quagsire. Five new Quagsire Pokéfuta were just unveiled across Kochi City, Tosa Shimizu City, Yasuda Town, Motoyama Town, and Niyodogawa Town, with a ceremony featuring a Quagsire mascot. The Pokéfuta project has already placed 200+ Pokémon covers across Japan, turning them into real tourist attractions and Quagsire is now the face of 5 regions. $Ditto went crazy not long ago, and that was only from being on trains in one town. $Quagsire will be across 5 towns… and counting.
