Tigrino is the only known member of Leopardus tilcayo, the first new cat species discovered in over 100 years (Current Biology / National Geographic, Sep 17 2026). He is 3 lbs, 10 years old, found on a road in Bolivia as a kitten and raised at La Senda Verde Wildlife Sanctuary.
