$JubJub is an unofficial Solana memecoin for Zcash’s cover bird. The Jubjub first came from Carroll, then became the Sapling curve and the illustration on the Zcash protocol spec - the document treated as Zcash’s whitepaper. That bird sits on the front page, and “Jubjub” is named in the spec more than 150 times. The token launched on StonkFun, paired with ZEC, as a community joke with no product utility. Then Zcash posted the bird: “Please meet jubjub.” That is the bull case. Most mascots are invented for a ticker. This lore was already printed by Zcash, then posted by Zcash, then launched by the crowd. Unique origin, not a random animal.
