Austin Metcalf was a 17 year old junior at Frisco Memorial High School in Texas. On April 2, 2025, he was fatally stabbed in the chest after a brief argument with another student, Karmelo Anthony, who brought a knife to a highschool track meet. Austin died in his twin brother's arms. Anthony was arrested and charged with first degree murder after admitting to the crime. He is now claiming self defense.
