MYSPACE USERS LITERALLY HAD INTERACTIVE PETS LIVING ON THEIR PROFILES Back in the 2000s people would go to BunnyHero Labs, choose an animal, change its color, give it a name and paste the code directly onto their MySpace profile These weren’t just random GIFs either People visiting your page could click them, feed them and play with them I found a whole Mashable article from 2006 calling BunnyHero a massive MySpace phenomenon The official BunnyHero site still mentions MySpace directly and even has a separate version of the code made for it MySpace profiles genuinely had their own pets
