Meet WOFL. The new Pepe. Disregard the frog. $WOFL is a poorly made MS drawing of a wolf that was created by an anonymous user on /b/. The drawing became an exploitable and a "new meme" after the spread of the meme, Pepe the Frog. A user posted a thread stating that the Pepe meme was becoming outdated, and what would be the next meme to follow Pepe. Later in the thread, another anon replied with an original drawing of "wofl" drawn on Microsoft Paint, with the quote "and on this day wofl was invented." The drawing got fair notability on /b/, with users posting WOFL threads, as well as many derivatives of the original image.
